Current cookie use
SmartnCV does not currently set advertising, marketing or audience-analytics cookies. A consent banner is therefore not shown for those purposes.
Strictly necessary technology
The hosting and security service may use essential session or security technology when it is needed to deliver the website, prevent abuse or support an authenticated area. Essential technology is not used to build an advertising profile.
CV builder browser storage
The builder uses local browser storage, not an advertising cookie, to keep your draft, chosen template and colour on your device. This makes the draft available when you return using the same browser.
You can remove it by selecting Start a new CV in the builder or by clearing SmartnCV's website data in your browser settings.
Guest analysis and the counter
The completed-check counter is stored as one total on SmartnCV's server. It does not require an identifier in your browser and does not identify individual users. Uploaded guest files are discarded after analysis.
Product measurement without an analytics cookie
SmartnCV records limited server-side events such as a page view, a successfully received CV upload, a completed builder draft, a PDF export action and a completed analysis. This measurement does not set an analytics cookie, create a browser identifier or store CV content. The builder keeps one device-local completion marker so the same draft is not counted repeatedly. Figures are product actions, not unique people.
If this changes
If SmartnCV later introduces a non-essential cookie or similar technology, this notice will be updated and an appropriate consent choice will be provided before that technology is used.
